: Customize Shoes with Spray Paint and Sugru Raised on leather, with flesh on her mind, here comes the woman with the look in her eye. Her words are weapons, sharper than knives. Note: It's probably going to feel wrong sanding down the shoes, but it will help. Smoosh the snake onto the back of the shoe. An icing tip will help you gauge the dimensions. Use an exacto knife to scrape or cut away trickier bits. Reinforce with electrical tape (not shown). This will help prevent cracking and bubbles. Apply Vaseline to the underside of the shoe including the treads. This will help prevent cracking and bubbles. Dye the shoes wi.Update: The treads are coming off, and I suspect 1 of 2 things: I should have sanded the bottom of the shoe more (maybe used a Dremel), or Sugru cannot adhere to the type of plastic used on this portion of the shoe. If you try this, sand it hard. If it fails, the worst is you have wasted a couple packs of Sugru. You need to understand that vertical jump training is needed so you can play better basketball. If you've failed to improve in the past, it's time to go back to begin at the basics. Its amazing how many athletes fail to be their best, not because of their lack of ability, but because they were never taught the correct way to go about it. Working out the wrong way for the right reasons will only keep you from reaching your full potential. You could be working out very hard without knowing that your not performing the exercises the right way. Then you get frustrated because of little or no results. But now you ask " how do I know if I'm not doing it right"? This is where YOUR knowledge comes in play. You have to take the time to know which areas you have to work on to become successful. There are 4 main aspects you must understand, and until you do, you'll never get where you want to be with your game. You may have heard that before, that's because successful athletes know it. Your total understanding of the correct principles, practices, techniques and nutrition is where it starts. You can perform all the exercises in the world and not improve, unless you have the knowledge of what your muscles, tendons, fibers and mind need for you to succeed. You see it takes your full commitment if your going to run faster, increase flexibility, improve quickness and speed, and have that explosive energy that you see in some of the best athletes. Don't be a bench warmer that only plays when no one else is left on the bench. Be the guy that everyone else needs in the game, the guy that makes the team whole. Be the guy that has everyone asking you how do you move like that, or how do you jump so high. Don't work to be as good as your opponent, work to be the better. You'll only become the best that you can be when you stop listening to others and start listening to yourself. Don't believe all those testimonials you see on web sites that are trying to sell you their workout program. Most only care about the money they make, not your success. That's why its so very important that you understand what you need. Understand which muscles you need to work on, and the basics of how your muscles break down during your workout and why they have to be strengthened the proper way so they can recover fast. Once you understand that the hamstrings, calves, glutes, quadriceps and the lower back muscles, are all muscles that are used when running and jumping, and how to strengthen them the right way, you'll be surprised at the results you get. Your biggest challenges are your diet and being consistent. The exercises are easy when you compare them to your nutrition and you having to be consistent. When you follow the correct nutritional program, and when you execute the correct exercises right, you'll know it. Vertical jump training is needed for you to play better basketball because the same muscle groups are needed to improve flexibility, increase quickness, speed, balance, and at the same time helps to prevent serious injuries during workouts or on the court. Your hard work will pay off if you combine that with working smart, having the mental strength to be consistent with your workout and nutrition, and knowing that each workout will bring you closer to the best you can be. Don't sell yourself short, start with the basic understanding needed. The line features balls, drivers, irons and hybrid clubs that Jerry Miller, vice president of marketing, said are "breaking through some of the glass ceilings of technology in golf."The Kick X clubs are built with new materials that give the ball more distance and accuracy, giving golfers better performance and more control, designer Mark Adams said. The new golf ball and redesigned putter use a series of lines on each item to help line up putts. Koch said the goal is to help every golfer golf better, and that's what his products are made to do.The new equipment will be marketed and sold with the company's online business, Golf Shop Central. The website includes an online store, instructional articles and fitness programs as well as the tried and true marketing methods used for Koch's first golf product success with Medicus infomercials.Unlike some of the bigger name manufacturers, Kick X products will not be available in retail stores. Koch said he will make some items available in pro shops to give them the chance to benefit from the sales, but online ordering will make up the bulk of Kick X sales."We're going to give people the opportunity to buy at reasonable prices and be part of the program," Koch said. "We're going to go after them, and our business model is how we're going to do it."View full sizeCourtesy of Kick XThe new Tour Z Premium golf ball (top left) features three lines to help golfers better line up their shots. The markings on the ball match up with the lines on the Z Ball putter (top right). The brand is also releasing new irons designed by Mark Adams (bottom left) and hybrids that deliver better distance and accuracy (bottom right).Miller said feedback on the new products has been positive, especially from professionals. So far, professional tour player Bruce Fleisher has switched to using Kick X's Tour Z golf balls and irons. He is a spokesman for the brand, Miller said. Yet despite the enthusiasm, he said the notion of going up against bigger manufacturers is still a bit surreal."That's like saying 'Let's start a chain and compete with Wal Mart. Let's go after Google!'" Miller said. "We're going after the biggest companies in the world in the golf industry. We're giving a brand new line that people can choose. . . and so far, the results are just off the charts."Representatives from Callaway, Titleist and Taylormade declined to comment. Nike and Ping did not respond to requests to comment.Innovating with new materialsAdams said he was approached by Koch to design the Medicus training aids about two and a half years ago, and he was asked to come on board in 2011 as the vice president of research and development for the new Kick X line. Adams has designed the new golf ball and clubs and also developed his signature line for the collection MA nine.Put simply, all of the new Kick X products are designed to improve the distance, speed and accuracy of the ball. But unlike other collections, Adams employed techniques using new technology and materials that take Kick X a step further. The new golf ball features three straight lines and a central dot to help golfers better line up their shot with the center of the club, which also has lines on it. The result is a more accurate swing and more distance on the ball. The new ball was released at the end of May.The clubs are made of 431 9 stainless steel and are cast, a process where molten metal is poured into a pre made mold. The 431 9 stainless steel creates a club that has the feel of a forged club, but the forgiveness of a cast club. On any golf club, there is a "sweet spot" near the middle of the head that, when hit against the ball, makes the ball go farther and straighter than other spots would. On a cast club, performance will still be decent even if the "sweet spot" isn't hit right in the middle.Adams said that their new metal and technology increased the size of the "sweet spot," resulting in better performance. This kind of design has been possible on clubs with bigger faces, such as drivers, but heads on fairway woods and hybrids, up until now, have been too small. The new metal also makes the head of the club more responsive to the impact of the ball. Adams compared the effect to that of a child jumping in the middle of a trampoline. A more taut trampoline means a faster rebound and a higher bounce. The club face and ball have both been designed in such a way as to maximize that bouncing effect."So not only does the ball cave in and spring back like a trampoline, but the face of the golf club springs back and acts like a trampoline," Adams said. "Those two together give you a greater distance."

Women Nike Free Run 3.0 V4 Light Bone Reflect Silver Iguana Quilted This is not to pick at old wounds, how the Suns owner once incensed Joe Johnson, how he wanted to low ball Alvin Gentry, or how he asked Grant Hill to take a pay cut after playing 82 games for the first time in his life. This is about repeating mistakes. In 2005 06, the Suns had remarkable chemistry. They reached the Western Conference finals without Amar'e Stoudemire. They were two wins from the NBA Finals and had found perfect working harmony between front office and locker room. Then Sarver ushered out Bryan Colangelo, breaking the special bond he shared with Mike D'Antoni. He made a general manager out of the overworked D'Antoni, who was coaching for Team USA that summer. He elevated the under qualified David Griffin as his assistant. Together, they gave Boris Diaw $45 million. They arranged a midnight meeting with Marcus Banks in Las Vegas and paid him another $21 million. Legend has it that Sarver trusted his staff enough to sign Banks sight unseen. And when Sarver finally met his new backup point guard, he couldn't believe Banks' diminutive stature. On the brink of a championship, the Suns coughed up a hairball. Now: Same thing. Two wins from the NBA Finals, Sarver had a special team with great camaraderie. He had the perfect synergy between general manager and coach, and once again, it didn't seem to carry much value. As the season progressed, Sarver yearned for one playoff series in Phoenix, guaranteeing a minimum of two home playoff games. He received eight home dates. The postseason run generated an estimated $10.5 million of additional revenue and restored all the good will lost during the Shaquille O'Neal/Terry Porter debacle. So how could this happen? Sarver isn't always cheap. There are times when he's absolutely charming. A parking lot attendant told me Sarver once flipped him a $200 gift card for working hard in the heat. He recently picked up the bill for a trip to Nike headquarters, buying gear for low level employees. He allowed Kerr to work from home whenever necessary. And for nearly three years, through all the nuisances and whispers, Kerr always saw the best in Sarver. Until the culture of working under Sarver became too much: too much stress, too many battles over money, too much owner interference. Don't believe the spin, or Kerr's sudden desire to be with his family. He had the perfect setup in Phoenix. He was actively negotiating an extension, and publicly thanking Gentry for making it all happen. And he's not the type to pass up shots at winning an NBA championship. Just ask Michael Jordan. In the short term, Sarver will feel the brunt of public perception. A Stoudemire departure would further move the team in reverse, confirming Sarver (a) doesn't believe in the team he just sold you; (b) doesn't have the money to compete at a championship level; or (c) his appetite for a championship goes only so far. And on a current media tour, disgraced referee Tim Donaghy claimed that league officials still respond negatively to Sarver's omnipresence at games. "No doubt about it," Donaghy said. "He's obviously a very vocal, animated individual. And he really got into the games. He certainly screamed and yelled at the referees every opportunity he got, especially during timeouts, in an extreme and animated way. And there's no doubt and no secret among referees that a couple went out of their way to stick it to him." OK, we'll consider the source on that one. But too many easy going men have thrown up their hands and bolted Sarver's employ. He has blown through three coaches and three general managers in six years. The culture of ownership clearly is a problem, and why Sarver needs to fade into the background, giving his staff necessary room to breathe and funds to operate. Alas, he has done exactly what he swore he wouldn't, which is loitering around the basketball team, making basketball decisions. That must change moving forward. For everyone's good.
